WooHoo! I am Back!

Did you miss me?

All of homeschooljournal.net was down because the webhost decided to change the terms of service on Andrea and Ron and turned it off with no notice! Oh, and if that was not bad enough, it got turned off on the day that Andrea and Ron were moving! You can read more about it here.

Anyways…kudos to Andrea and Ron for getting us up and running again! Considering they maintain this wonderful community in their spare time (and don’t even charge us for it!) I have to say that I really appreciate their dedication and hard work (in the midst of moving no less!)

Thanks guys!

About throwingmarshmallows

I am a homeschooling mom to two sweet, energetic boys although I am probably not exactly what you would expect (definitely NOT your stereotypical homeschooler, if there is really such a thing). I support progressive political causes (yes, liberals can and do homeschool!) and I have found a spiritual home in the Unitarian Universalist Church. I have no real idea of how I want to use this blog, but will probably focus on homeschooling, things that I am learning from my boys, personal thoughts and opinions and maybe some liberal politics thrown in, who knows!

  1. COD says:

About Greg Laden…do not wade into the morass that is his comments section. They guy is troll, albeit he trolls his own website. It is a very predictable cycle.

    1. He makes wild baseless accusations about HSing.
    2. HSers respond
    3. He dismisses responses as unscientific while insisting his baseless personal opinions are valid and throws up strawman arguments.
    4. Return to step 1.

Been there, done that with him too many times now. This your chance to benefit from my foolishness ;)

You may have noticed that he gets 100 odd comments on HS posts, and maybe 1 or 2 on anything else he writes about. Don’t do it – you’ll thank me later!

  2. Thanks for the kind words. (I’m still catching up on posts here.) :)
