Do You Know Your States?

Can you name all 50 states in 10 minutes? Give it a try! Oh, and you have to be able to spell them correctly too!

I am a bit embarrassed to say that I missed Idaho, Minnesota (only because I could not spell it correctly!), Ohio, and get this…West Virginia. Yes, I forgot about our neighboring state that shares part of the name of the state that I live in. What can I say…I guess that I do not perform well under pressure…

    Whew!! That was fun. I got 49 of them in 3 minutes. Then it took me 2 more minutes to run find the globe to figure out Louisiana. I can’t believe I couldn’t get Louisiana! :)

    I got all 50 with 7:55 to spare. In fifth grade I learned the “Fifty Nifty United States” song and have known all the states in alphabetical order ever since. I’m 42 now - I’ve had this song in my head for over 30 years!

    Darn … 47/50 … I forgot Montana, Nebraska and Wisconsin. How could I forget Wisconsin when I loved Little House in the Big Woods so much? :-D That was fun!

    LOL! There is an episode of FRIENDS where one of the characters challenges everyone else to name all the states in six minutes. Every time that episode airs I play along.
