A Surfer Is Born

Published by throwingmarshmallows at 1:58 am under Beach Adventures

Last week Chris, a cousin of Joanna’s, offered to take Jason out on his surf board. Jason jumped at the chance. And he did awesome! Chris said that many kids are not able to stand up their first time out and that Jason seemed to have a natural talent for it.

The smile on Jason’s face was priceless.

That does show a lot of great ability. I would think standing up for the first time would take a learning curve to get it! Great job, Jason!

What a great series of photos! Surfing is something my eldest is aching to try, but lessons are SO expensive. We keep hoping that we’ll run across somebody who is willing to teach him just to see the smile on his face! For now they’ll have to be content with boogie boarding and sand surfing.

He’s definately a natural. Looks like fun. Out here in Lake Michigan you can’t even take a frisbee in the water or the lifegaurds loose their minds.

Yeah, Jason – that looks like a riot!
